The Challenge
Hello scrappy friends! Today is the start of Love to Scrap's fourth challenge entitled, Cut it Out. This involves making a project that uses die cuts or punches. The design team was each given a digital stamp from Sassy Studio Designs to incorporate into our projects. The winner of the challenge will receive 4 digital stamps from our sponsor as a prize.
The Details
When I was perusing all the digital stamps from Sassy Studio Designs, the Tinkerbell Honey one really caught my eye. My 1 year old niece was Tink for Halloween so I decided to build a layout around the two Tinkerbells.
I looked around for a sketch and found this one from Sketches in Thyme that I really liked that had the right balance of photos and negative space.
I'm entering this at:
Sketches in Thyme - sketch #108
Challenges 4 Everybody - anything goes
Bearly Mine Challenges - anything goes
The Crafty Bloggers Network - #10 anything goes
Make it Monday - #136 link party
Thanks so much for flutterin' by,

As our challenge calls for die cut or punches, I took out a packet of SEI die cut embellishments that I had won and tried to utilize as many as possible. I ended up using 18 pieces, including 6 banner strips for journaling. There was a clock face die cut, so I added a game spinner and brad to simulate one hand on a clock.
To tie in the clock face, I incorporated time into the title. I wanted the Tink in the title to stand out, so I used stickers for the rest of the title and glittery chipboard for the Tink.
My sister said she spent a lot of money on the official Disney costume so hopefully this layout commemorates the one time she wore it.
If you have some die cuts or punches on any of your projects, we would love for you to join us at Love to Scrap!
